WHAT happened in my life that made me opt to watch the news in a hotel room? Such a tragedy. Who cares who wins the primary election? I don't. Well maybe a little. I remember the days when I used to care about what was on  Disney or Nickelodeon. Speaking of Nickelodeon...okay. Everyone should know that if I could meet anyone in the world, it would be JK Rowling. The second person would be Audrey Hepburn. But the third, the third would be Josh Peck.

Last month, I was stalking noticed that Josh was on vacation in Hawaii. I tried, but I didn't run into him. It was a shame. Then I left the island on a four day business trip for the ACP/CMA National College Media Convention in Chicago (more on that to come later). Who do you think showed up at my hotel to promote their new movie, Red Dawn?

Serendipity (n.) - The occurrence and development of events by chance in a happy or beneficial way. Meant to be. 

Meeting Josh Peck was meant to be. It was everything I dreamed of and more. So much better than meeting princess Belle. So much better than meeting Kirby Heyborne. So much better than meeting a baby. It was magical. 

This is what happened:

1:31- Brush teeth, brush up on Josh Peck wikipedia page. 

2:05- Take elevator to main hall. Sit. Wait.

2:22- Other fans start arriving. Start a line. 

2:41- Is that him? No.

2:47- Now it is

2:50- Calmmmm down Abby. Get autograph, hug, take pictures.

Do you want to know what I said to Josh? Well I don't remember it all. What I do remember saying... "You smell really good." His reply, "It's my natural scent."
